OUR PROGRAM

Our March luncheon features a delightful talk by Bruce Wall, a Citizen Advisor for the City of Scottsdale, and the Program Coordinator for Scottsdale Neighborhood College. The PowerPoint presentation, Scoundrels, Rascals & Cutthroats tells the often-hilarious stories of 3 crimes, which Bruce has meticulously researched, committed in Scottsdale between 1902 and 1982. Along the way, we'll learn a lot of history too: how the mail was first brought by wagon from Phoenix to Scottsdale, why the Yuma High School football team are named the “Criminals,” and what investigative tools were available at to the police at the time.
