When you are also registering your spouse/partner for the activity, remember to add 1 guest to the last box that says add guest. That way you will be registering for both of you. If you share the same email address, leave that field blank for the guest.

Please be sure your completed online reservation and payment of $30.00 are received NO LATER than  Saturday March 18. Cancellations also cannot be accepted after this date

Recognition of Club Volunteers and Past Presidents, and Installation of Officers for 2017-18

PROGRAM: THE SUN CITY POMS

The Sun City Poms is a group of young-at-heart senior ladies ages 55+.  They are well known for their acrobatic routines using poms as well as performing jazz and western numbers. They perform at various functions such as high school pep rallies, college and professional sporting events, clubs, fairs, care centers, private parties, and have appeared in commercials with the most recent being Advil’s “What Pain” commercial, and television, including the NBC Today Show.  They will soon be featured in an AARP publication, and an independent documentary titled “The Beyond 60 Project”.  They were featured last spring in the Phoenix Magazine.

The Poms are internationally known having been featured in documentaries and written media in Ireland, Germany, Australia, England, France, and Japan.  The Poms were featured in a documentary for BBC World titled ‘100 Women’ in December 2016.  They will soon be seen in documentaries on television in Belgium and London. 

The Poms are ambassadors that exude the fitness tradition of a healthy, active lifestyle for senior citizens.  They have been named an Arizona Treasure.
